Small town charm, friendly service, GREAT FOOD! We had the poutine, a chicken club, the biggest cheeseburger ever w/ a side of onion rings. Everything was delicious. Neither of us could finish our meals. Very reasonable prices. Food was fresh, hot, delicious!
Made the trip from Waynesboro to Dearing just for this place the staff was extremely friendly there was plenty of inside and outside seating very clean all around. Our only complaints are extremely minor the sweet tea was fresh and the right amount of sugar we will be returning. Don't let the small appearance of this hidden gem turn you away. Go in and enjoy this place
I found this restaurant on Google Maps. While researching around the area for a road trip to view fall foliage. This is a cozy restaurant just off the highway in Deering, Georgia, with about five tables as you come in the front door with a counter just beyond the tables. The restaurant is decorated with dairy related and patriotic items. The two ladies taking orders were friendly and willing to talk about the restaurant and menu items. The menu has a variety of dishes. one of them being an interesting dish called Poutine(a mix of meat, fries.cheese curds and gravy)There were several unique variations of hamburgers and other sandwiches. And, j as the name indicates, there were cheese curds locally made, for sale. I ordered and would highly recommend the Mega Melt and onion rings. This establishment is very supportive of the Military and the food is delicious.Deep South Cheese and Grill would be a very good choice for a lunch. stop to eat in or to take out
Such a warm, welcoming vibe! Down home, delicious food! I had the hot chopped steak plate, and I was so impressed! Caleb had the cheeseburger, and the sign is right. They do have the best cheeseburger in town! Do yourself a favor and stop in!
What a great “hole in the wall” with fabulous food! Large portions and fair prices make this worth a detour. Staff was lovely.
Made the mistake of thinking I could eat both a double burger and a large poutine in one sitting. Great quality food, amazing quality cheese, and I got to have poutine properly for the first time... TAKE THAT CANADA! My first time eating there a train had literally stopped so the engineers could come order from this place so clearly something is being done correctly.
This is a great burger plus place. I don't go often cuz I have to be good. But if you like being bad, they got you. Oh how could I forget the cheese curds, their specialty is a must have. Their service is excellent.
